Ok maybe not me but my house seems like it.  I was able to get rid of the servers  - I sold them for $200.  And then I was able to give Pitty Pat her Hiking stick that I picked up in September.  I dropped off all the GGA paperwork so I don't have it anymore.  And I put the speaker stands in the Jeep readying to take them to Goodwill ( Read more... )

I do the whole blockbuster online .com thingee to rent my movies.  When I originally started renting DVD's that way, I had the Mack Daddy plan of 3 movies out at a time, 5 store exchange out (for free) movies for $19.95 a month.  A deal if you watch no tv and only watch DVD movies every night.  What I discovered was I was maybe only watching about ( Read more... )

Yes I am.  10 years of Retail Customer Service experience has not gone to waste.  I save nearly every receipt.  And periodically I keep the box it came in just for such occasions.  I got my $50 back.  No hassles, arguments, funny looks or additional questions past the "Anything Wrong with it?" question.  Even though I was past the maximum 90 days ( Read more... )

So I went to Lowes to get the part to repair the newly purchased fan.  After I found the part I needed,  I decided to look at the fans to see if I could find one for my bedroom.  And much to my surprise...I see that the fan I had just purchased less that 2 weeks prior and was getting ready to repair, had been reduced in price.  It wasn't a couple ( Read more... )
